Elizabeth has been engaged in community development and government relations for the past 30 years. As a Hispanic woman, she utilized her bilingual expertise to promote programs and services in Spanish for Hispanic families.

Most recently, she served as Communications Specialist for Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County for the past four and a half years. Previously, served as the Community Relations Specialist and Government Relations Specialist at the Health Care District of Palm Beach County for 22 years.

Elizabeth is a Ph.D. Candidate in Health Services with Specialization in Community Health Education and Advocacy at Walden University and holds a Master’s Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University in Public Administration.  She is an alumni of Leadership Palm Beach County and a member the General Federation of Woman’s Club High Springs New Century Woman’s Club.

Ms. Cayson has received numerous awards in recognition of community and leadership service, including Glades NAACP Diversity Award, Palm Beach Atlantic University MacArthur Leadership Award, PBC Medical Society’s Hero in Medicine-Outreach Award, and a special recognition naming “Liz Cayson Day,” in the late U.S. Congressman Alcee Hastings District, for her heroic efforts in rescuing an eight-month-old child.  She received a gubernatorial appointment  to serve on the Florida Diabetes State-Wide Council and Florida Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers.
