Good News Arts- Summer Camp
The Good News Arts Summer Arts Camp will provide seven weeks of art education and learning for students in K-8 grades. Each week students, divided up into groups based on grade level (k-1, 1-2, 3-4, and 5-8), spend time with professional arts staff learning new creative arts skills that tie directly to academic, developmental, and social skills as well. Student groups will be limited to 20 and will rotate to a new creative specialty each week, learning a variety of arts skills and practices that could include drawing, painting, writing, playwriting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, culinary arts, poetry, ceramics, and more (dependent on artists hired for instruction). Students will showcase their work in a program exhibition at the end of the summer program at a professional gallery setting
