Gainesville Circus Center- Afterschool Circus

SUMMARY: Gainesville Circus Center, Inc provides circus arts experiences to local youth in the form of aftercare, classes, camps, workshops and performances. The Circus Kids program features activities such as: flying trapeze, aerial silks, dance, juggling and prop-making. GCC offers scholarships to at-risk youth in our community through funding in part by the Florida Division of Arts & Culture and the Children’s Trust of Alachua County. The Afterschool Circus program is offered from end of school day until 6pm. Children will engage in all of the wonderful circus arts training offered in our weekly circus kids classes, plus additional theater arts & dance skills. Daily snack included. Pick-up available from select local public schools. Be sure to inquire if we offer pick-up at your location before registering for Afterschool Circus with transportation.
