GNV Bridge Literacy Program

Our program delivers focused one-on-one literacy tutoring using data-driven methods to help children who are behind in their reading level quickly catch up to their peers. We train community volunteers to be reading coaches who meet five times a week on an online platform with enrolled students. These coaches provide short, focused lessons using the proven Great Leaps literacy software. Reading progress is tracked closely and students who participate faithfully see an average of 1.2 years of reading level growth in just 12 weeks.
