Mary Chance appointed to Children’s Trust of Alachua County

Mary Chance joins Children's Trust Board

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis announced on June 23, 2023 the appointment of Mary Chance to the Children’s Trust of Alachua County.

Chance, of Gainesville, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.

She currently serves on the Florida Education Foundation Board and the statewide advisory council for the Florida Grade-Level Reading Campaign.

Chance earned her bachelor’s degrees in English and business from Florida State University and her master’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida.

Mary is a product of 18 years of education in Florida’s public schools. Her three children are recent graduates of Florida public schools and are now continuing their education in college and professional programs.
